Dr. Simon Tembo, Managing Director
Dr. Simon Tembo is a former CEO of ZAMTEL (Zambia National Telecom). He made major business decisions such that ZAMTEL made key investments in the EASSY Optical Fibre Cable, National Optic Fibre Cable, Lusaka Metropolitan Optical Fibre. Also he developed and maintained effective strategic relationships with key stakeholders that included Government (the shareholders), Financial Institutions and Regulating agencies.
He is currently a Vice-Chairman from ERB, Grid Code Technical Committee and also Head of Department for Electrical and Electronic Engineering Department, School of Engineering at the University of Zambia.
Dr. Simon Tembo obtained Doctor of Engineering Degree from Akita University, in JAPAN; Doctorate research was in cooperation with Nippon Telegraph & Telephone Corporation (NTT) in Tokyo, JAPAN.
Certificate in Digital Radio Telecommunications Engineering. Course organized by JICA and conducted by NTT for eleven African Countries' Telecommunications Operators.
Member of IEEE and EIZ. Registered Engineer of EIZ
Haruki Marunishi , Director
Haruki Marunishi and Simon Tembo Jr met at the Ritsumeikan Asia Pacific University (Japan) in 2011 and he visited Simon’s home, Zambia 2013.
Since then, he has traveled to Zambia several times and finally started a business after making a proposal to Dr. Simon Tembo for ISSHIN CONSULTING 2016.
He served as interpreter for State Minister, Shinsuke Suematsu, Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism, Japan at Zambia-Japan- Public Private Conference for High Quality Infrastructure.
In charge of business alliance between International and Zambian companies.
